Final Thoughts
The Samsung T240 is the largest LCD monitor that I have reviewed and have used. Assembling the base, clearing off desk space and turning the monitor on just made me giddy. The moment I booted my computer and started using it, I was hooked. I don’t think I can go back to my dual 19-inch monitors.
The various people we have had over at our apartment have commented on the monitor as well. They have mentioned how vibrant the colors are, how sharp everything looks on the screen to even how jealous they are of such a large workspace and play space within the monitor.
The design of the T240 allows these monitors to stand out from the crowd. The T240 with Samsung’s Touch of Class, allows for a more modern look and appeal to a person’s work area too. The black piano finish with a rose accent surrounded by the glass look will definitely pique the interest of the onlooker.
Overall I have enjoyed using the Samsung T240 monitor and will be sad to see it go. The vibrant colors, sharp images, the physical look and design are all great aspects of this monitor. Samsung has yet again proven that they can create a great series of monitors with exceptional quality, design and performance. I would definitely spend money out of my own pocket to be the owner of this monitor.
Pros:
– Large 24-inch workspace
– Native 1920×1200 resolution
– 2-Port USB Hub
– Roughly 0.3W standby power draw
– Great look and feel
Cons:
– No height adjustment

Samsung provides great monitors, my lcd monitor from like 8 years back still functions, which is a testament to their quality.

I do have a new asus 22″ monitor i'm just attesting to the quality of samsung monitors. They are one of the top ones, as shown by the life of my old one, which now is just rotting in my basement.

It may have lasted this long but the quality might not be up there with todays Samsung LCDs.
The quality was / is still pretty good.

When compared to a brand new model, I doubt it.

I'd say it's comparable to the lower end, generic brand monitors nowadays, which is still pretty good, plus it's still functional, just no space on my desk to use it. Plus, newer isn't always better.
For its time yes but now a days, prolly not.
Newer isn't better is just crazy talk. You can stick with your large tube SD TV, I stick with my HD LCD.

I'm talking comparing apples to apples… lcd vs lcd not tube vs lcd…
Fine, you can have your crappy old LCD and I'll stick with and HD LCD. Happy?
I dont' see what's wrong with my lcd. it does its job displaying the desktop..
comparable to generics that are being released nowadays
