Samsung’s Galaxy line has been their flagship smartphone line for some time now. As CES 2014 and Mobile World Congress (MWC) get closer we have been hearing some rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5. One was that it would be launched at CES, but that does not seem to be case as the Galaxy S5 will be launched at MWC in late February.
The release date was revealed by the head of the design team at Samsung’s IT and mobile communications division. Apparently that was all he said so we do not have any other details on Samsung’s upcoming flagship device.
From the rumors we expect the Galaxy S5 to have a 64-bit Exynos processor and a 5.25-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560) AMOLED display. CES 2014 kicks off next week so don’t expect to see a Galaxy S5 there, but Samsung might be showing off the Galaxy Gear 2.
