Many people thought Samsung would use Mobile World Congress to unveil the next revision of their extremely popular Galaxy S smartphone, but it seems that is not happening. Because of the popularity of the Galaxy S III Samsung will be holding their own event to launch the Galaxy S4. The event is set to take place in New York City on March 14th. Reuters has confirmed this date with company reps so it looks like it is happening.
Samsung has said that they have had multiple requests from U.S. carriers to announce the phone in the United States after last years Galaxy S3 launch in London. Rumored specifications include a 4.99-inch 1080p display along with a Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor. Of course we should also expect some new innovative software as we have seen with the Galaxy S3 and Note 2. So who is excited for a new Galaxy smartphone?
