Software & The Controller
The software for the Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 Digital is just amazing. There is so much to choose from and to do. You are able to set up different profiles for your headset alone. The first tab is the Main Control. Here we can change the different volume settings and also change the headset mode, Sampling Rate, Automatic Volume Normalization and magic voice which will allow you to change your voice.
The Advance Control tab you have some areas where you can tweak more settings out a little bit better. Some of the areas we can tinker with here is the Dynamic Bass. This will allow you to tweak your bass settings to your liking. Then we have the Brilliant Audio which will enhance compressed music quality. Incoming Voice Clarity will help enhance all audio received speech. You can also change the sampling rate and the mice volume.
This next tab is basically self-explaining it is the Equalizer area. Here we can change out for different presets or make our own custom preset. I have mine bases off the preset of Electro some small tweaks to it.
The last tab is for Updates to the Roccat software and an easy way to get direct support for Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 Digital.
The controller itself will actually light up when you have the headset plugged into your PC. The LED indicators on the front will let you know the volume levels for the specific channels. Also when you have the headset muted or have Bluetooth enabled those indication LEDs will turn on.
