RHA SA950i Headphones Review

RHA SA850i Headphones Overview
The first thing I immediately noticed about the SA950i’s were how light and small they actually were. The photos might actually make the headset look bigger than what it is. At 105g the SA950i’s are one of the lightest set of over-the-ear headphones we have ever reviewed.

There are two plastic earcups on each side of the headset. These are actually quite small compared to many other headsets. The headset does give you some adjustment by way of a simple friction mechanism on each earcup. Since this part is made of metal it should work quite well as well as not break after use.

The earcups themselves have a large cushion on them which will make use very comfortable. Despite the earcups small size the SA950i’s feature 40mm drivers. On the left earcup is where you will find a 3.5mm audio connection for the included cable.

The headband has a small cushion on it and is covered in a leather-like material. These headphones are pretty light so not much cushioning is needed. The included audio cable is wrapped in cloth for better protection and wear. It has in-line volume adjustment, a microphone and control button for taking calls. This is iPhone only so if you have an Android device you functionality here will be limited. The audio cable works both ways so you can have the in-line controls either close to your face or down by your device.
