Pivos XIOS XS Overview
The XIOS XS is a very small device, it is a 3.25-inch x 3.5-inch square that is only 0.75-inches thin. This means you should be able to fit it pretty much anywhere in your home theater setup. The device has a sort of light grey casing with the XIOS XS logo on the top. I have to say I am not a fan of the design of the XIOS XS, the previous XIOS DS looked much better.
The front of the device is pretty much all plain except for an optical sensor for the included remote.
The left side of the device has some small air vents and a USB connection.
The right side is pretty much the same, but there is also a microSD slot for extra storage.
Moving along to the back you will find the rest of your connections which include microUSB for power, HDMI, Ethernet and optical audio. Inside the device is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, dual-core 400 MHz GPU, 1 GB of DDR3 memory and 8GB of eMMC memory.
The remote that comes with the XIOS XS is pretty simple. It has smaller mute and power buttons at the top, navigation and select button below those, menu, return and home buttons in the middle and volume up and down buttons towards the bottom.
