Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX Tempered Glass Case Review

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX Tempered Glass Case Overview
When the Enthoo Evolv was first introduced it had a very unique design, that was subtle, yet sleek and I still feel that holds true today. It really is one sexy case! We received the black version of the case, but it also comes in grey and silver versions as well. The case has official dimensions of 9.1 x 17.8 x 15.7 in (W x H x D) and weighs in at just under 20 lbs.

The case itself is mainly made of steel with a very sleek top and front panels that are made of thick 3 mm aluminum and of course you have those tempered glass side panels as well. At the front of the case you have that nice aluminum panel with a small LED bar towards the bottom of the case. This LED bar is RGB.

At the top part of the front of the case is a compartment that when you open it reveals two USB 3.0 ports, HDA jacks, and a small button that is used to change the colors of the LEDs on the front and top of the case.

At the top part of the case there is another 3mm-thick aluminum panel. The only thing you’ll find up there is a single power button. If you were wondering how the top of the case gets ventilated you’ll see small ventilation holes on each side of the case.

If we take a look at the two side panels each are 3mm-thick tempered glass and work on a hinge system. This hinge system allows them to be easily opened as well as removed. The panels lock or are held onto the case by two magnets on the opposite side of the hinges. The main side panel is all clear and shows off pretty much the entire inside of your case. The opposite side panel is tinted, but is clear where the SSD mounts are. I actually like the tinted glass on the back, it is extremely hard to keep all of your cables on the backside looking pretty.

At the rear of the case you’ll find a 140 mm exhaust fan, this spot can also support a 120 mm fan if you wanted to swap out the 140 mm. Both fan mounts use a system where you can move the fan up or down depending on where your CPU or other components might sit. Moving down from there you have your 4 expansion slots and the power supply mount on the bottom of the case. There is a filter that comes out from the bottom of the case. Since it is removable it can be easily cleaned.
