Through testing, we found that FUEL+ 7800mAh can charge two phones from near death to 100% without breaking a sweat, and can charge a 4th Generation iPad from 60% to 98% by draining its entire reserve. Fueling the FUEL+ took exceptionally long over a PC USB connection, but the time was nearly cut in half to 8 hours when fueling with a 12W iPad USB Charger.
Patriot’s retail price is $69.99, but you can find FUEL+ 7800mAh for about $53 on Amazon. FUEL+ is competitively priced to similar products on the market, seeing the last rechargeable battery we reviewed, Luxa2’s P1 7000mAh is $54.99. Although if you do some digging, you’ll notice Rosewill’s 7800mAh rechargeable battery is only $24.99.
