Recently Kingston introduced their brand new HyperX Savage Series DDR3 memory kits. The HyperX Savage series effectively replaces the HyperX Genesis series that has been on the market for a few years now. The refresh sees a new improved and stylish red heatspreader, black PCB and of course the great quality we expect from Kingston. Kingston’s HyperX Savage memory is available with speeds ranging from 1600 MHz to 2400 MHz in single 4GB and 8GB modules and dual-channel kits ranging from 8GB all the way up to 32GB. Today we will be taking a look at the highest clocked kit the HX324C11SRK2/16 which runs at 2400 MHz with timings of 11-13-14 at 1.65V. Let’s get them on the test bench and see how they do!
Team Group has just announced their latest DDR4-2666 64GB (4x16GB) Kit. This kit features the first single 16GB overclocked DRAM module in the world. This kit will be introduced in two different product series and be available in four different color to match your build perfectly.
While we are all waiting for smaller fabrication nodes for GPUs, there is another revolution that will effect the graphics cards industry. Well the kit we are taking a look at today is much different. It has a nice set of heatspreaders and runs at 2400 MHz with timings of 15-15-15-25 at 1.2V. The kit we are talking about is G.Skill’s F4-2400C15Q-16GRK kit, which is a 16 GB kit. G.Skill will also be offering these kits in three different color options so you can match them to your motherboard, case and other components. Intel recently launched their Haswell-E HEDT (high-end desktop) processors and accompanying X99 chipset. With that came the introduction of DDR4 memory to the consumer market. DDR4 memory has been used in server implementations, but the X99 chipset is the first consumer platform to support DDR4 memory. DDR4 brings with it faster data rates (2133 MHz standard), higher capacity levels and improved efficiency over DD3. Today we will be taking a look at our first DDR4 memory kit and it comes from Crucial. We are taking a look at their 32 GB (4x8GB) DDR4-2133 Kit (CT4K8G4DFD8213). This is Crucial’s JEDEC kit so it is not fancy at all and does not come with a XMP profile. The kit runs at 2133 MHz with timings of 15-15-15-36 at 1.2V.

Just a couple of days ago we revealed G.Skill’s Ripjaws 4 DDR4 memory kits and now G.Skill has made it official. The new DDR4 memory kits in the Ripjaws 4 will feature all new redesigned heatspreaders in three different colors.
G.Skill’s RipJaws 4 gaming-grade memory modules have been revealed. These new memory modules will feature a slightly different heatspreader design, but will have the same color options as their DDR3 predecessors.
