MSI has just announced a brand new graphics card to their gaming lineup. It is the R9 270X GAMING 2G ITX, which if you can guess by the name is a card made for ITX builds. That card is just 17 centimeters long, which means it will easily be able to fit in your small form factor build.
MSI is gearing up for the Z97 Express chipset launch and their primary motherboard lines for the launch will be the Gaming Series and the OC Series. While the Gaming Series will cover price points from $100 up to $220 and will offer features for gamers and mainstream users the OC Series is priced between $200 and $400 and will offer products for competitive overclockers and enthusiasts. The OC Series is made up of three motherboards, the Z97 MPower, Z97 MPower MAX AC and the Z97 XPower AC.
Intel is expected to launch the next generation 9-Series chipset on May 11th which will include the latest Haswell refresh processors and various Z97 and H97 motherboards from different companies. It looks like MSI’s entire Z97 Gaming Motherboard line has been leaked.
MSI has just launched two new motherboards as part of their Gaming Series of motherboards. They are the B85I Gaming and the B85M gaming. The B85M gaming is a Micro-ATX board whereas the B85I Gaming is Mini-ITX. These boards have many of the features found on MSI’s Gaming Motherboards like USB Audio Power, Killer LAN, Audio Boost, and a whole new software and hardware design for enhanced performance.
Intel will be launching their Haswell refresh in about a month. The refresh will be compatible with the next generation 9-Series chipset compatible H97 and Z97 motherboards. HardwareLuxx got a first look at MSI’s upcoming Z97 motherboard prototypes at an NDA briefing.
MSI’s upcoming R9 290X Lightning was been previewed by the guys over at Overclock3D. The R9 290X Lightning will be MSI’s latest “Lightning” card featuring the AMD “Hawaii” GPU along with MSI’s TriFrozr cooling solution and Military IV Class Components.
MSI has just debuted their first Intel Bay Trail based Mini-ITX motherboard the J1800I. The board features Intel’s Celeron J1800 dual core processor with Intel HD graphics. The board only uses 10w of power and uses a passive cooling solution. This makes it perfect for a small multimedia system.
MSI unveiled their first FM2+ socket motherboards at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month and they are launching them today. The A88X-G45 Gaming and the A88XM Gaming motherboards are the first gaming motherboards from MSI for the AMD FM2+ socket.
The upcoming MSI GeForce GTX 780 Ti Lightning graphics card has been pictured and detailed by the guys over at Comptoir Hardware. Well it does not look like much has changed from the GTX 780 Lighting card as the PCB sports the same 20-phase design, two 8-pin power connectors, V-Check points and Military Class 4 components.
Several manufacturers prepare for the upcoming CES 2014 and it seems as if MSI has got its hands all full with a range of products falling under the Gaming lineup that need some introducing on the much awaited event.
