Gigabyte has just unveiled their new Gaming G1 Series Z170 motherboards at Computex 2015. These have to be some of the most impressive motherboards we have seen so far at Computex! These motherboards feature a brand new color design that has an all black PCB, with white and red accents that just looks awesome!
EVGA is showing three new motherboards that are ready for Skylake and based on the Z170 chipset. These three new motherboards include the Z170 Classified, Z170 FTW, and the Z170 Stinger. The flagship board is the Z170 Classified, it features a 10 phase PWM design and gets power from a combination of 24pin and dual 8pin connectors.
ASUS was not only showing off Z170 motherboards at Computex, they had a few new server and workstation motherboards based on the Intel X99 chipset. These motherboards include the X99-E WS/USB 3.1, X99-WS/IPMI, and the X99-M WS.
It looks like everyone is showing off their Skylake motherboards at Computex this year. ASRock is showing off quite a few different motherboards that are made for Intel’s upcoming 6th Generation Core Processors. These motherboards include the Z170 Extreme7, Z170 Extreme6, Z170 Extreme4, Z170 Pro4, and B150M-HDS/D3.
MSI is showing off two new motherboards from their upcoming third-generation “GAMING” motherboard series at Computex. These motherboards include the Z170A-G45 Gaming and the X99A-GODLIKE Gaming. It looks like MSI is moving away from the “3/5/7/9” naming as Gigabyte is copying it.
A list has appeared online of ASUS’s upcoming series 100 motherboards. These motherboards are aimed at Intel’s upcoming Skylake processors that are set to be released later this year. According to this list ASUS will be releasing 21 motherboards based on the Z170, H170 and H110 chipsets.
MSI, world leading in motherboard design, is pleased to announce the launch of 8 new AMD FM2+/FM2 socket based motherboards supporting the latest AMD Godavari APU. These new models are available in ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ATX form factors and are backwards compatible with FM2 processors (Kaveri, Richland, Trinity, 6000 and 5000 series).
Earlier this month we showed you Colorful’s Z170 concept motherboard. Recently the Chinese manufacturer held an event to show off their next generation motherboards based on the Z170 chipset that feature the LGA1151 socket that will support Intel’s upcoming Skylake processors.
Typically ASUS is the #1 motherboard manufacturer, they always ship more units than their competitors. Trailing behind is always Gigabyte, but it looks like they were able to claim the #1 spot for the first quarter of 2015.
