Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd announces the PC-Q21 Mini Tower Chassis for Mini-ITX systems. This compact chassis tucks a full computer into a small box. The slot-load slim ODD bay at the top gives legacy optical drives a cool home or holds a modern SSD. There are two PCI expansion slots and more room under them than in previous models. This lets in more air, and accommodates a very flexible bottom-mounted drive sled. Even the front has space enough for a full 2.5″ drive or a 3.5″ drive with shorter graphics cards.
Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd today announces the PC-V33. Available in 3 choices: brushed aluminum in silver or black, or internal black with a tempered glass side door. The PC-V33 does not restrict PSU, GPU or main board choice due to size or power consumption: it’s designed to accommodate full-sized gaming hardware in a compact form-factor. Its cube styling makes it a companion you can take with anywhere you need full-sized computing and still have room for a 240 mm water cooling radiator to be mounted inside.
Lian Li is working with Daniel Hansen to produce the world’s smallest gaming PC case. The case is the Dan A4-SFX and it has room inside for long graphics cards and multiple hard drives. The case supports mini-ITX motherboards, but surprisingly has extremely small dimensions of 200 x 112 x 317 mm.
Lian Li has just released the PC-Q17, which is a mini-ITX tower-type case. What is interesting about it is that it ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) co-branded. It was specifically designed to go well with ASUS’s ROG Maximus Impact line of mini-ITX motherboards. There is a large light-up ROG logo on the PSU / drive cage.
This week on our Weekly Tech Podcast we talk about our review of the Intel Core i7-5775C, building in the Lian Li PC-T80 test bench, the launch of the AMD Radeon R9 Fury graphics card and much more!
The illusive PC Test Bench, something that if you are reviewing or testing PC hardware is a must have. Test benches make it extremely easy to swap out hardware compared to a traditional PC case. This not only makes things easier, but saves you quite a lot of time and frustration as well. Surprisingly there are not that many companies that offer PC test benches, but Lian Li is one of them. They first released the PC-T60, which supported ATX motherboards, but lacked room for AiO watercooling. The Lian Li PC-T80 is now here and supports motherboards up to XL-ATX and has room for radiators up to 360mm. We will be using this test bench for our new graphics card test rig, will it fit the bill? Read on as we find out!
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have lowfat’s “Big Lian Li” build. lowfat recently rebooted his Big Lian Li build. This time he has gone with a super clean and sexy design inside of the Lian Li PC-A77F case. He has gone ahead and blacked it all out, added a custom cooling loop with rigid tubing that is actually sleeved, re-polished all of the watercooling blocks and the wiring in this build is just amazing!
Lian Li has made cases for years, and they are still making cases, but this one is a little different. Lian Li’s newest computer case is in the form a glass desk. A clear center with black glass around the sides allow you to see what’s underneath your desk, which is a drawer filled with your computer!
We all know that Lian Li is synonymous with quality. But for the most part they have stuck to the same traditional rectangular case design. Recently they have turned up their creative side and started making some really interesting case designs like their DK case desk series. Much like the DK series, the new “O” series really showcases the skill and quality that Lian Li possesses thanks to their in house manufacturing.
Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd will be at the world’s largest consumer technology trade show – CES 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from January 6 to 9, 2015.
