The release date for Blizzard’s team-based shooter Overwatch has been leaked. Interestingly enough the leak comes from an advertisement on IGN. According to the advertisement Overwatch will be released May 24, 2016. Those who happen to pre-order will get early access to the open beta.
Blizzard has not confirmed this release date and since the above screenshot was taken the advertisement has been taken down. We should expect to see an official announcement from Blizzard soon.
Overwatch was officially announced at BlizzCon 2014. It will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
