I recently was the winner of a brand new Flip MinoHD and I decided since we already looked at the Flip Ultra I would compare the 2.
Digital video is everywhere, it has become as popular as digital photos. If you are looking to get a video camera it can be very expensive, especially if you are looking to shoot in HD. That is where Pure Digital has come along with the Flip, an inexpensive digital video camera that not only works well is very easy to use. No trying to figure out firewire or anything like that you just plug the Flip right into your computer! Today we are looking at the Flip MinoHD, the latest offering from Pure Digital. It features a very compact design and the ability to record in HD, let's take a look.
Recording Time: 60min Internal Memory: 4GB Designable: Yes LCD Screen: 1.5" Transflective TFT Video Resolution: 1280 x 720 Video Compression: Pure Digital Video Engine 3.0 Frame Rate: 30 frames per second Video Format: H.264 video, AAC audio Battery: Internal lithium Ion rechargeable battery
The Flip MinoHD comes in the minimalistic packaging that all other Flip's come in. This packaging remind me of the iPhone's, it is very similar. On the front there is a picture of the Flip and on the back there are some features listed, like I said very minimalistic.
When you open the box up you will find the flip on top and all of the other accessories below. The accessories include AV cables, a lanyard, carrying case, and a quick start guide.
