Antec impressed ThinkComputers with its TruePower Quattro series of quad 12V rail, modular, and 80% or greater efficiency power supply units. Antec recently introduced a new line of power supply units with even greater efficiency, the Signature series. This series of units is not only more efficient, but quieter and higher quality altogether. ThinkComputers reviews the 850W version in this article.

Packaging

The Signature series power supply arrives in a slick black box with the Signature series logo on top of an outer sleeve. The Antec logo and a product description is on the side of the sleeve.

Inside the sleeve is a shoebox-style box bearing the Antec logo on the top. There is a series of dividers inside the box and a variety of information, including a 15-field check list showing that this power supply has been hand-tested to ensure that it is working and passes the 80PLUS Bronze efficiency standard of 82% efficiency at 20%, 50%, and 100% load. Included in the box is this paperwork, a power cable, the modular power connectors, and the unit itself.
