Introduction

We first got a glimpse at the Cooler Master CSX cases at CES. They boasted amazing and very unique paint jobs. CSX stands for "Customized Style eXperience". The CSX division at Cooler Master teamed with Smooth Creations to offer consumers some really amazing designs. Cooler Master was nice enough to send us their new Broodling CSX Case to check out. The case sells for $999.99, will the amazing paint job justify the price tag? Read on to find out!

Packaging

The case was shipped in a large packaging box, but that had to be removed at UPS where I picked the case up so it would fit in my car! This extra box provided more than enough protection for the case inside. Many full systems are shipped like this. So inside the large packaging box is the CSX retail box. It has a very sleek style to it with an all black design and the CSX logo in white. Just like any other case the case is held in place and protected with Styrofoam.

Taking the case out of the box it is protected even further with plastic. Once we took the plastic off the case is covered by a heavy cloth covering. This is great if you plan on taking the case to LAN parties with you. On the front of the cover these is a CSX logo stitched into the cloth, very cool!

Also included with the CSX case is an installation guide, CSX T-shirt, Cooler Master pen, certificate of authenticity, warranty, and cleaning guide. All CSX cases come with a limited lifetime warranty on paint and a five year warranty on parts and labor. So if there are any blemishes in the paint ever the case will be repainted at no charge!
