The Razer Mako 2.1 THX Certified Multimedia System is overall a great system. It supplies top notch sound quality across the entire room while still only being a 2.1 sound system. Even though through Razer the price is a hefty $399.99 I still think it is a much better pick than other high end speaker systems.

Even though the Mako was designed by Razer I still don't think it's just for gamers or for PC only use. Razer designed the Mako so that everyone could use it. You can use it for your iPod, MP3, Home Theatre, PC and almost any other audio aspect you can think of. Investing $400 into this system will sure provide great sound for years to come. If you're not the audiophile and are looking for an easy system to use, whether it is for your PC, home theatre, or even your iPod or MP3 player the Razer Mako is for you.

If you're looking for a high quality sound system for your iPod or MP3 player, like a Bose SoundDock, I would recommend this over other systems. I've used the Bose SoundDock before and while it does provide some nice sound the Razer Mako provides much crisper sound and much better bass. It is even THX certified; do you see any Bose or iPod capable sound systems with that certification? Not any that I've seen.

The overall quality of the Razer Mako is a great sound system that can be used for multiple tasks. If you have the money or are in the market for a high end sound system the Razer Mako should be a great choice for you. Think Computers awards the Razer Mako 2.1 THX Certified Multimedia System a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award.
