Introduction

Laptops are really becoming popular, especially when it comes to desktop replacements. Many laptops now are just as powerful as desktop computers if not more powerful. A lot of people now prefer laptops over desktop because they can easily take the laptop with them and they take up less space on their desk. One thing about laptops is they easily overheat, especially gaming laptops. That is where notebook coolers come in. Today we will be looking at the Cryo LX notebook cooler from NZXT, which looks like a pretty extreme notebook cooler.

- Brushed Aluminum finish
- Rubber finish lifts the notebook up to allow less heat pockets and better airflow

- Four USB ports for your media, storage, and input devices

- Dimensions (W x D): 16.6" x 11.6"

Packaging

Just like all NZXT products the Cryo LX comes in a very eye pleasing retail package. One thing that caught my eye about the front of the package was that it said the Cryo LX is the world's largest full aluminum notebook cooler. I knew the cooler has big considering the box size, but I didn't know it was the world's largest! On the back there are various pictures of the Cryo LX as well as the list of features you see above in 4 different languages.

Opening up the retail box we can see that the Cryo LX is nicely protected with Styrofoam and plastic wrap. Inside we have the Cryo LX and 2 USB cables, one for power and the other for the USB hub on the Cryo LX.
