ASUS is one of the most well-known motherboard manufacturers. Its boards are known for consistent stability and awesome features, as well as excellent design. ThinkComputers reviewed the M3A32-MVP Deluxe/Wifi, a top-shelf, Crossfire-capable motherboard using the AMD 790X chipset and an on-board wireless module. This writer's first motherboard review, I load this board with everything I could throw at it: a top of the line power supply and graphics card, oodles of RAM, and three operating systems.

The box in which the ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe arrives has a green motif and bears the various certification logos and ASUS's feature logos. The rear touts the ASUS Cool Mempipe, a cooling device for the memory, the Precision Tweaker 2, a software package for overclocking, and AI Gear 2, a power management package. Also prominently displayed is a mark saying the board has a three year warranty.

Under the front flap are even more of ASUS's feature logos, such as AI Audio 2, Q-shield, and Stack Cool 2. The M3A32-MVP Deluxe is also the first full-speed Phenom-ready motherboard.

The devices are neatly packed inside, but are quickly removed and installed. Accessories included with the motherboard include an IDE ribbon cable, a floppy cable, a pair of Crossfire connectors, the ASUS Cool Mempipe assembly, the Q-Shield rear connector panel shield, a stack fan, ASUS's Q-Connectors, an antenna for the wireless module, a USB/Firewire back panel, a 4-pin to SATA power connector, and a mess of SATA cables. The instruction manual is very verbose and includes detailed explanations for installation. However, its descriptions of BIOS functions are very terse.
