Introduction

Digital media adapters are all the rage these days, just like many other computer parts. More and more consumers are realizing the benefits of storing movies, music, and pictures on a computer and then displaying those media on a large monitor or television. The Galaxy Tvisto Pro DMA takes a SATA hard drive and embedded Linux and can play back a variety of formats from the hard drive or a wired or wireless network. Packaging

The Tvisto Pro box has more-or-less the entire contents of its product web site on the box. Every bit of information that could be packed onto it is there, including pictures of the unit and all the parts inside, as well as a variety of logos denoting what codecs and other features it supports.

Inside the box was the Tvisto Pro, a remote control, a power adapter, composite cables, component cables, a VGA cable with audio outputs, an Ethernet cable, a USB cable, and a very, very well-designed and pictorial manual.
