That's One Skinny Box

The first thing that struck me about this monitor is that the plain brown box that it comes in is a lot slimmer than many LCD monitor boxes that I have seen. Samsung has done an excellent job in compacting a 22-inch monitor into such a small package. This makes transport from the computer store a heck of a lot easier.

By and large, this is thanks to the relatively small base that the monitor itself plugs into. By not having the base immediately connected to the LCD panel itself, Samsung was able to stack things together and save some space. Unpacking the monitor was also easier than some other LCD monitors, because there was no bulky base immediately protruding from the package. This also means that it's easier to pack it up for warranty work, should the need ever arise.
