Introduction

Back in June we took a look at the GuardianX Silver Power 1000W power supply from Tagan and it received good scores. Now Tagan has a new 1300W power supply from the ITZ series. It has an 80% efficiency, is quad CPU and video card ready, and has an auto turbo mode to combine all six +12V rails into one. Also the ITZ is covered in a titanium blue mirror-finish casing. Let's see how it stacks up to the other 1000W plus power supplies we have tested.

Packaging

The ITZ Series power supply comes in a nice sturdy retail package. On the front there is a single picture of the power supply. On the back there is a list of the ITZ's features in 7 different languages.

Inside of the main box there are 2 boxes, one that has the power supply and the other has the power cable and some accessories. Getting everything out we have the ITZ Power Supply, power cable, floppy power splitter, SATA to Molex connectors, case badge, and instructions.
