Introduction

In Win's Mountain Jade microATX case is a redesign of its BK623 case in cooperation with Intel. The Mountain Jade is well-suited for an HTPC, promising only 30 dB(A) outside the case when combined with a stock Core 2 Duo cooler. ThinkComputers investigates this case to see if its fashionably black exterior and partitioned interior are as awesome as In Win purports them to be.

Packaging

The In Win Mountain Jade arrived in simplistically-decorated box that, if it weren't for a small sticker with "In Win" on it, I'd have mistaken the box for one containing some kind of decorative object for my mantle. Nice touch, In Win.

The case was well-packed and enclosed in plastic for its protection. No manuals here, folks.
