Introduction

SteelSeries has surely created a mousepad that has surpassed all of their other mousepad's. It can't be compared to any other professional gaming surface available today. The newly released Steelseries SX precision gaming mousepad is composed of fiber polished aluminum with anodized oxide coating, allowing for an uber smooth gaming surface for precise wrist action in all of your games. The SteelSeries SX was designed for the hardcore gamers who really want to experience a different feel to communicating with your computer.

Specifications:

- Material: High quality fiber polished aluminum
- Surface: Anodized oxide treatment
- Dimensions: 320mm*270mm (12,6 x 10,6in) - thickness 2mm (0,08in)
- Size: Medium
- Glide: Smooth (really, really smooth)
- Compatibility: Gaming grade optical and laser technologies

The Packaging

At a first glance the SteelSeries SX looked like any other typical mousepad, but as soon as I picked it up I noticed that the package wasn't very heavy, since it is made out of a light metal, aluminum. The pad comes packaged inside of a pop open plastic which is then covered with a cardboard casing.

Whenever I opened the package I came across more than I was expecting. Inside I found the SX mousepad, a set of SteelSeries Glide MS, and a lint free cloth.
