DataTraveler Secure Overview

The first thing I noticed when I picked up the DataTraveler secure was that is was quite heavy. That is because it is made out of titanium coated stainless steel. This will help protect the data on your flash drive incase you drop the drive or hit it off something. On the front of the drive there is a Kingston Logo and a small indication LED. On the back is the DataTraveler Secure logo.

When you remove the cap on the DataTraveler secure it is actually pretty tight. This is because the drive is waterproof so the cap needs to be on tight so water does not destroy the drive. There are plastic strips on each side of the drive to give it some extra protection in case you drop it.

The small lanyard clip is easy to attach to the drive. It is not a full sized lanyard clip though; you can connect it to a full size one, or attach it to your key ring.

When you plug the DataTraveler secure into an open USB slot the LED on it lights up bright blue. Blue is always a popular color and works well with the colors of the Data Traveler secure.
