Introduction

Laptops are hard to work on all day long. Most people I know that use laptops as their main computer have an external monitor they hook the laptop up to when they get home. After having your neck bent down for a few hours it becomes very stiff. This is why people get external monitors. Well Griffin has a less expensive answer to this problem, the Elevator Desktop Stand. The stand will keep your screen level with your eyes so you are not always looking down.

Features

- Elevates laptop screen 5.5" while providing valuable desktop real estate for your keyboard and mouse
- Keeps laptop cool with 360 degrees of air circulation
- Fits all laptops - Mac or PC

First Looks

The Elevator comes in Griffin’s retail packaging that has a picture of the Elevator in action with a Macbook Pro. On the back there is a diagram showing you how to put the Elevator together and a list of features.

Opening up the retail packaging we can see that the pieces of the elevator are nicely placed inside so nothing will happen to them during shipping. I would suggest saving the box if you plan to travel with the elevator. There are only 3 parts to the Elevator, the 2 arms and the base.

Putting the elevator together is really easy. You just put the 2 arms into the base. They will lock into place. It can’t get easier than that, plus this easy installation makes for easy tear down too!
