Introduction

The last time we took a look at an Alienware laptop it was the Area-51 m5550 15.4-inch laptop. The m5550 is more of a mid-range budget system. The Aurora m9700 is on high-end being Alienware's 2nd most expensive laptop they sell. This notebook is built for gaming with dual 256MB Nvidia Geforce Go 7900 GS video cards in SLI mode! This is the first and only 17" laptop with a dual graphics card system. Before I reveal anymore about this laptop let's get the review started!

Packaging

When the laptop arrived at my door I was presented with 2 boxes instead of the usual 1 that I am used to receiving for laptops. The larger box has the laptop and mostly everything inside of it and the smaller box has some of the accessories like the Logitech G5 laser mouse and media center remote.

The larger box has the famous Alienware box inside. Inside of this box is of course your laptop and another box that has all of your accessories inside.

The accessory box has a ton of stuff inside of it. These things include an Alienware Func pad, AC adapter, IR receiver, S-video to video cable, phone cable, Respawn CD/DVD, quick start guide, and an Alienware t-shirt.
