Introduction

I'm sure by now all of you have heard of Crucial. If you haven't crucial makes some of the best memory out there today and their memory advisor is great for finding the best ram when your ready to upgrade. They recently celebrated their 10th anniversary. In recognition of this they have released a special edition of their PC2-5300 module. This special edition features an exclusive heat spreader that you will not find on any other Crucial modules, so let's take a look.

Packaging

Like all memory from Crucial it comes in a plain cardboard box. This time we received two boxes from Crucial. One box had the memory in it and the other had a candy bar that was shaped like the ram!

Inside of the box of memory we have the 2 ram sticks, each individually packaged. Also inside is an information booklet about the memory. The candy bar was a bit melted, but you could see that it was made to look like the actual memory.
