Introduction
Back in June we took a look at the Thermalright HR-01 and were very impressed. Today we are taking a look at another cooler from Thermalright with the same type of design. The Ultra-120 features a tower design with aluminum fins. We are putting it up against the latest AM2 coolers to see if Thermalright can still remain number 1 when it comes to CPU cooling. Let's take a look...

- Quiet and powerful cooling due to multiple heat pipes and large aluminum fin area
- Proprietary bent winglet design to minimize airflow resistance
- Heat pipes soldered to base (nickel plated)and fins for optimum heat transfer
- Include both bolt-thru-board retention brackets for Intel and AMD

First Looks
The Ultra-120 comes in the normal plain Thermalright box. Getting it open you can see that Thermalright does a good job of keeping everything nice and protected inside.
Getting everything out of the box we have the following items: The Ultra-120 CPU cooler, mounting hardware for AMD K8 and Intel 775 CPU's, 2 fan wires, 2 adhesive anti-vibration fan cushion strips, thermal paste, instructions for both AMD and Intel CPU's and a Thermalright sticker.
