Introduction
I'm getting old, I know it happens to the best of us right? Can you remember what was used before CD's? Cassette Tapes, those little plastic things that sort of resemble miniature VHS tapes. I can bet a lot of you reading might have never owned one, but I did, I owned a lot of them. Now if we go back even farther I can remember having an 8-Track cassette player in the car, but let's not... Anyway for those of you that still have your valuable cassette tape collection and want a way to transfer them to digital format, I think I have found a solution for you, it's called the Plusdeck2c, and it fits into a standard 5.25" bay. It not only allows you to listen to cassette tapes while working at your computer, but it allows you to transfer them to it in a digital format such as MP3 so you can take them with you. This has more uses than just for music though, if you have meetings etc you can easily transfer them now to keep digitally, read on to learn more...

First Looks
This has to be one of the most unique products I have reviewed to date. The box features pictures of the Plusdeck2c all over it along with lots of features and specs.
Opening the box up we find quite a bit of accessories that are going to be used for the installation process.
Included is a ribbon cable that connects from the Plusdeck2c to the PCI bracket sound card, audio cables for transferring the audio to and from your PC, an installation manual, software CD, and a serial cable for transferring the data to your PC. All the cables are very long to insure and easy installation. The PCI bracket has a connection inside the case for the ribbon cable, and several audio and a serial port connector on the out side of the PCI bracket.
