I used to like the smaller mouse pads, but I got a few larger ones for review and grew quite fond of them over time, but I have found one now that I just love. Installation & Testing
Well installation requires you to have a desk surface large enough to accommodate this extra large mouse pad. I am lucky in that respect, I have a nice large desk. Here it is 'installed' on my desk:
Of course I had to play a few games to get the pad broken in, and I have to say I love it. I used my MX1000, G7 and G5 with this pad and had no problems. All movement seemed smooth and fluid no matter what I did, even the most intricate detailed movements seemed to track perfectly. Everyday use is just as easy. I like being able to have such a large surface to work with, having the keyboard on the pad as well actually cuts down on the noise from it, and resting my arms on a soft surface is very nice as well.
Conclusion
What can I say, it's a great pad, I will be keeping this on my desk for a long time to come. I just love it!
It works with all mice I tried it with, tracking and response seems to be on par with much more expensive mouse pads I own and have reviewed. I have to say that for some people this just might not be for them, especially if you have a small desk, but if you have a desk big enough to fit the Corepad Deskpad, then I suggest you give it a try and I think you will find that you will love it as much as I do. ThinkComputers gives the Corepad Deskpad XXL a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award, that is if you have a desk big enough to fit it...
Pros:
- BIG surface area
- Smooth and responsive surface
- Doubles as a cushion for your desk!
- Quiets mice and keyboards
