Introduction

Hey, Hey, more Anime for you and me! Thanks to our friends at Central Park Media, today I have another Anime DVD for review. It is Kakurenbo: Hide & Seek. It is the winner of the 2005 Tokyo Anime Fair, Best Short Film of the 2005 Fantasia Film Festival and Nominated Best Short Film at 2005 Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival.

I would like to thank Central Park Media (CPM) for the opportunity to review Kakurenbo.

First Looks

Format: DVD
Language: Japanese and English
Age: 13 and up
Time: 75 minutes total

Kakurenbo came to me along with the Black Jack DVD; both were packaged very well, and shipped directly from CPM. The Kakurenbo DVD is very bright and colorful; the cover is actual anime from the movie. The back of the case contains info about the DVD, listing of features and plot summary.

Opening the case we are greeted with a large picture of a Demon on the left side and the DVD itself on the right. The case is semi-transparent so you can see the pictures; under the DVD are the credits.
