Testing

There is not much to testing these, plug in and go. I did burn a couple CDs on the Memorex drive, and found it to be a bit noisy actually, but to be fair, the drive is noisy to begin with. As for the hard drive, it was relatively quiet.

Conclusion

Enermax combines style, good looks and functionality in the Laureate series of enclosures. These enclosures are well made with a lot of attention to details. They feel very sturdy, and able to withstand quite a bit of abuse. Even the packaging is very well done, you can tell that a lot of thought and work went into the design of not only the packaging but the enclosures themselves. If you are in the market for a quality portable enclosure then I would highly recommend the Enermax Laureate series for you. ThinkComputers gives the Enermax Laureate Enclosures a 10 out of 10 score.

Pros:
- Good looks
- Well made
- Excellent attention to details

- Hard drive a bit of a hassle to install.
