Introduction

With Laptops becoming cheaper, more portable, and more powerful, there have been a lot of portable products coming out. These products are becoming very popular and many major manufacturers have been coming out with great portable items. Today we are going to be taking a look at a set of portable speakers from Altec Lansing. These are no cheap portable speakers that you might find for $20 at your local PC shop. These speakers retail for $99.95 and sure pack a punch. Street price on them is a bit lower if you can find them. So let’s check out the Altec Lansing XT1 Portable Speakers!

First Looks

The XT1’s come in a very attractive retail box. On the back of the box there are the features and specs of the speakers, they are even in 6 different languages.

Opening up the box there is an Altec Lansing case inside. This case is in a plastic container to protect it from getting scratched. Also inside the container is the instructions and manual.

The case is actually really nice. There is a cool Altec Lansing logo at the bottom. Opening it up there is a pocket on the top flap. Everything inside is nicely packaged in plastic for added protection.
