Introduction

Hello everyone today I’ve got a custom acrylic case from Mountain Mods for your pleasure. The “Bob Slay” is a sleek, cube-style case, made entirely from laser cut ¼ inch cast acrylic. The Bob Slay’s cube design make it unique in the field of acrylic cases which normally are only available in the usual tower design. I would like to thank Mountain Mods for providing us the chance to review such a fine product and their continued support of our site.

Packaging

The Bob Slay arrived in a plain cardboard box surrounded by packing peanuts. The actually case was in yet another box cushioned by Styrofoam and covered by a garbage back to ensure the case arrives in one piece and free of any scratches.

Other than the case included in the packaging we have:
- 1 Bag of Motherboard Screws (10)
- 1 Bag of 5.25” Drive Bay Screws (4)
- 1 Bag of PSU/HD Screws (8)
- 2 Bags of 120mm Fan Screws (8)
- 2 Acrylic 5.25” Drive Bay Attachments

An instruction manual was absent however one can be downloaded from here in Adobe PDF format, however it is targeted mainly at users who elect to construct the Bob Slay themselves. Also absent were acrylic hard drive attachments that allow the installation of 3 HD’s in the Bob Slay, these can be ordered separately for $3.99.
