Introduction

The last time we took a look at a video card it was the Geforce FX 5700VE, a budget card that was able to play games well. Today we will be moving a step up to the GeForce 6600 from Diablotek. This is also a budget card selling for $119 (at time of review) from Geeks.com. This time we will be doing some video tests to see just how powerful this card is, and checking out some of the extra features of the card. So let’s get started!

First Looks

As you have seen in past reviews everything from geeks.com comes VIA UPS, and is packed with air bags, rather than peanuts.

The package that the card comes is very colorful and informative. It’s not as dull as the FX 5700VE’s package.

Opening up the package we have more than just the video card. The package includes, a quick install guide, driver CD, Cyberlink Power DVD 5 software, Component/Composite/S-Video to TV out cable, and of course the video card.
