Testing

Idle temps were measured by Everest after the rig sat idle for 30 minutes. Load temps were attained by running the latest version of Prime95 Torture Test, Large FFTs, for 30 minutes. Ambient room temperature was 72F.

I really didn't know what to expect since this is the first time I'm testing this processor's temps, but these temps definitely aren't bad for a 90mm cooler. But, as always, the real test is after the CPU is overclocked.

I overclocked the CPU from the stock 2.8gHz to a 25% overclock of 3.28gHz. I also cranked the Vcore up to AMD's recommended max of 1.425v.
