OCZ XMP Ready Series DDR3-1600 6GB Triple Channel Memory Kit - August 26, 2009
DDR3 prices continue to drop. I feel that they are now incredibly low. You can get most 6GB triple channel kits at speeds under DDR3-2000 for much less than $200. Most DDR3-2000 triple channel 6GB kits are under $300. Today I will be looking at an Intel XMP-ready DDR3-1600 6GB triple channel kit from OCZ. Besides sporting a very cool look, which I'll show in a minute, the XMP2 setting is actually an overclock rather than a lower speed. Read on to check out the OCZ XMP Ready Series DDR3-1600 6GB Triple Channel Memory Kit!

OCZ is always coming up with something new, and new for their triple-channel lineup is the Blade series, which currently consists of four 6GB kits. Kingston HyperX T1 Series DDR3-2000 3GB Triple Channel Memory Kit Revisited - April 6, 2009
About a month ago I reviewed Kingston's HyperX DDR3-2000 3GB Triple Channel kit with their new HTX heatspreaders. The review was incomplete, as I was unable to run the memory even as high as DDR3-1600 due to my Engineering Sample i7 processor, and the memory clock configuration of the three motherboards I had to work with. Today, armed with a retail i7 920, and a shiny new BIOS from Gigabyte, I will have another go at this memory. Will I be successful, or will I once again end up with egg on my face? Read on to see!

OCZ Platinum Series DDR3-1600 Low Voltage 6GB Triple Channel Memory Kit - March 29, 2009
So I find it incredible that less than six months after the release of the i7 that you can actually build a pretty awesome i7 rig at budget prices. Add to that the fact that last year the bar was raised quite a bit for video card performance, you can build a really butt-kicking i7 gaming rig for under a grand. Sure, you can spend twice that or more if you wish, but there is really no need to. Today I will be looking at OCZ's DDR3-1600 Platinum 6GB kit. With its shiny XTC heatspreaders, 6 gigs of triple-channel goodness, and OCZ's reputation for high quality memory, along with a low price that will really blow you away, this memory kit should be a winner. Will it pass the test? Read on to see!

These memory modules sport beautiful new pin-fin heat spreaders and 9-9-9-27 timings at 1.65v. Will this Kingston kit carry my new i7 920 to glory? Read on to see!

OCZ SOE Urban Elite Edition DDR3-1600 2GB Dual Channel Memory Kit - August 17, 2008
It's been a couple of years since I reviewed my first kit of memory, a pair of green camouflage OCZ Special Ops Edition (SOE) DDR modules near the end of the DDR era. Here I am, around 20 memory reviews later, with my next pair of camo OCZ modules, their Special Ops Edition Urban Elite Edition DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) 8-8-8 2GB kit. As the original Spec Ops, the Urban Elite is basically marketed towards gamers for a simple choice in building their gaming rig, just choose the camouflage memory. Will the Urban Elite live up to the expectations we have for OCZ memory? We'll find out in the following pages.
