More and more and we are seeing them from memory companies like OCZ. Today we are checking out one of their latest SSD drives the Vertex series. The Vertex series is based on the Barefoot SSD controller from Indilinx, which makes it different from the previous 2 SSD series from OCZ, the Apex and Summit. Packaging

As expected the packing for this drive is very small, but OCZ still makes it look attractive. On the front there is a picture of the drive and a list of some of the features. On the back there is some information about the drive and a list of specifications.

Opening the retail box up inside we find the drive nicely protected and inside an anti-static bag. There is also an installation guide.
