OCZ Eclipse Double Laser Gaming Mouse Review

Overview

The OCZ Eclipse Double Laser Gaming Mouse offers quite a bit for the price. It offers numerous amounts of configurations ranging from profile changes to key changes which are all stored on the onboard memory inside the Eclipse. The Eclipse can reach a high DPI of 2400 which can be switched on the fly with the DPI switcher right in the middle of the mouse with an LED so you know exactly which DPI setting you’re at.

The Eclipse was ergonomically designed to contour to your fingers. A nice resting spot for your thumb lies on the left side of the mouse along with two contoured side buttons. The right side of the mouse follows the same contour, but does not have any buttons.

The Eclipse logo covers the back plate which has two clear plastic strips running down either side. The front of the mouse looks very similar to any ordinary mouse with the contoured buttons and scroll wheel, but the Eclipse has the additional DPI switcher and LED notification behind the scroll wheel for on the fly DPI changing.

Underneath the backplate housing the Eclipse logo reveals four weights which can be easily removed for weight configuration of the mouse.

The underside of the mouse is pretty plain with only three mouse feet and a profile changer button found near the top of the mouse.
