Toshiba-owned OCZ Storage Solutions have not officially announced the ARC 100 solid state drive, but it has shown up for pre-order on Amazon.com and Scan.co.uk. According to the listing the ARC 100 will come in 120 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB capacities.
The solid state drive comes in the 2.5-inch form factor (7 mm height), has a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, is powered by the Barefoot 3 M10 controoler and has Toshiba-made 19 nm MLC NAND flash memory chips.
The ARC 100 will boast sequential read and write speeds of 490 MB/s and 430 MB/s respectively (400 MB/s for the 120 GB model). The ARC 100 is priced at $74.99 for the 120 GB model, $119.99 for the 240 GB model and $239.99 for the 480 GB model.
