One of the coolest products of 2013 was the Oculus Rift. This virtual reality headset offers a truly immersive gaming experience that cannot be matched by any other product currently. Tom Forsyth who is an ex-Valve software engineer tweeted that they will be showing a new Rift Kit at CES.
It is expected that this prototype will support resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and the latency has been improved from 60-70ms to just 10-20ms. We will definitely have to take a look at this when we are on the show floor later in the week!
