NZXT Respire T20 & T40 CPU Coolers Review

Final Thoughts
Now that we’ve run these coolers through an overclockers gauntlet, what do we think about them? Are they just riding on the image of a performance driven, value minded company, or should they be something you put on your wish list?

I would say that certainly while they did not set any records for air coolers you need to keep things in perspective. At $29.99 for the T20 and $39.99 for the T40 they are very much at the lower end of the price/performance curve (which is good). The overclocks that they did achieve were very respectable for gaining a good bump in system speed.

My only real gripe with this pairing is the bigger brother of the two, the T40. While some may say $10 more for a .1ghz bump is worth it, I would say no. There will be no noticeable difference in performance from such a small increase. Maybe add another fan you say? Yes I’m sure that would help. I’m also fairly certain a better performing fan all around would help both of these coolers out. But then you are adding more dollars to something that you are buying for it’s price.

Overall Thinkcomputers awards this duo a score of 9 out of 10 for a low to mid level air cooler.
