NZXT Havik 140 CPU Cooler Review

Conclusion
The NZXT Havik 140 is a great start for NZXT, a company who’s shifted from case manufacturing to their first CPU cooler. While this CPU cooler is large and in-charge it doesn’t take up that much retail space as some of the higher end CPU coolers. While this CPU cooler has still yet to be released, the retail price is supposed to range between $74.99 to $79.99, putting it up there with the high end CPU coolers.

I wouldn’t recommend this for someone with a relatively small mid tower case. Someone who has a larger mid-tower case, like an NZXT Tempest EVO would probably have no issues installing this in their case. However, I’m not too happy about the awkward installation and troubles I had with this AMD installation. If this is what NZXT has to come for their CPU coolers, than I can’t wait to see what else they have in store. ThinkComputers would like to give the NZXT Havik 140 CPU Cooler an 8 out of 10 score.

Pros:

  • Two silent, 140mm fans
  • Unique design
  • Not bad for a case manufacturer

Cons:

  • Not so “easy installation” for AMD systems
  • Might not fit in all systems
