NVIDIA Possibly Launching GeForce GTX Titan Ultra This Month

Rumors had been circulating around about NVIDIA working on a new graphics card ever since AMD launched its R9 290X at the GPU 14 event and claimed it to be faster than the Titan. This didn’t come as a surprise as the rumors were believed to be true as NVIDIA was not going to stay behind if AMD has challenged one of its contenders and now we have the peak into the most powerful GK110 Core.

According to new rumors NVIDIA is preparing a new GK110 based card for launch. What sets the GK110 Core apart from the rest is the fact that while all other cores currently suffer in Double Precision, this one makes use of best of both the worlds with the heat output of current gen and double precision of Fermi. It is time that NVIDIA outs the full fledged version of the GK110 Core which utilizes its full potential as Titan is only a crippled version of this same core.

NVDIA is going to make the official release on the 16th or 17th of this month at the Montreal Gaming Event and we still have no clue as to what we should expect; it will either be a Dual GTX 790 or the much awaited GTX Titan Ultra. Chances are that we even might get some lower end card but this would not be such a clever move by NVIDIA. Most of the people are betting on the GTX Titan Ultra as the Titan has been challenged by AMD and like previously mentioned it is only a crippled version of the GK110 Core. The newest release has to be able to bring back the crown to NVIDIA to bring it back under the limelight of gamers and enthusiasts.
