According to a report by SweClockers NVIDIA will be showing the GeForce GTX 960 graphics card at the upcoming Consumer Electronics show next month. We have the lower-end GeForce GTX 750 series and the recent release of the higher-end GTX 980 and 970. It is about time for a new mid-range card to replace the GeForce GTX 760.
The showing of the card will only be a press preview though. The official launch of the card will take place a few weeks later towards the end of the month. We expect this card to be based on the GM206 silicon. The specifications still remain a mystery, but the card could feature 1280 CUDA cores and 2GB of GDDR5 running across a 128-bit interface.
When the card does launch we expect it to be around $249-$299.
