NVIDIA G-Sync Technology Unveiled

NVIDIA has just announce G-Sync, which is a new technology to end lag, stutter and tearing in games. With the aid of the G-Sync module and NVIDIA’s Kepler graphics all of your games will run with less lad and virtually no stutter or tearing, which is great news for PC gamers.

NVIDIA G-Sync Monitor

Many OEM monitors will ship with a G-Sync module that will be fused inside of the display. This will provide much more responsive gaming performance without any type of lag, stutter or tearing. The G-Sync module lets the Kepler graphics card handle the monitor timing instead of the monitor controlling it.

AMD has faced many problems with their Radeon HD 7000 series when it comes to frame pacing and stuttering. While this may have been partially fixed with the Catalyst 13.10 drivers it is still an issue. G-Sync technology will help gamers with GeForce Kepler cards (GeForce 600 series and up) and G-Sync enabled monitors get rid of these problems and have a smooth and seamless gaming experience.

NVIDIA showed a demo of the G-Sync technology at the GeForce event, but it is definitely something that you need to see in person to really appreciate.
