NVIDIA Blocks Overclocking on Mobile GPUs Again

Back in February we first reported on this. NVIDIA had disabled overclocking on their GTX 900M series mobile GPUs, this drew outrage from the gaming community. Under this pressure NVIDIA agreed to re-enable overclocking on these GPUs. Well it looks like NVIDIA has changed their mind again, it has reinstalled the overclocking block, or “clock-block” as the community is calling it in its R350 and R352 drivers.

The guys over at NotebookReview discovered that the latest GeForce drivers prevent overclocking if it reads a “lock-bit” in the video BIOS. As the notebook community gets enraged again will NVIDIA say oops and switch it back again?
