No More GeForce 700 Series Cards in 2013 After the GTX 760 Launch

It looks like NVIDIA will not be releasing any new cards in their 700 series in 2013 after the launch of their GeForce GTX 760 graphics card and indicated by the leaked slide that you see below. This week NVIDIA is supposed to introduce the GeForce GTX 760 Graphics Card, but after that do not expect anymore GeForce 700 series cards to be released in 2013.

GeForce-GTX-2013

NVIDIA’s 700 Series will be made up of three cards, the flagship GeForce GTX 780, the GeForce GTX 770 and the yet announced GeForce GTX 760. There will not be a dual-GPU card in the 700 series, well at least not in 2013. The entry level cards such as the GeForce GTX 650/650 Ti/650 Ti Boost and GTX 660 will not see 700 Series replacements in 2013 either.

Some may not be a fan of this, but its a smart move by NVIDIA. Their current entry level cards compete pretty well against AMD’s Radeon HD 7700 and 7800 series cards.
