Native Union JUMP Cable Review

Native Union JUMP Cable Overview
Taking a look at the JUMP Cable the first thing you realize is how small it is. It can easily fit in the palm of your hand. That means that it will be very easy to fit in your pocket or throw in a laptop bag. To give you an idea of size here is it next to my iPhone 6s.

On one side we have the USB connection. On this side there are three little LEDs that will let you know how charged up the battery is. The battery inside is an 800 mAh battery, this should give you around 30% more battery life to your mobile device. That amounts to about 3 hours of talk time or 2 hours of internet usage.

On the opposite side is the Lightning connector for Apple devices. Native Union does offer the JUMP cable in a microUSB version for all for the non-iPhone users out there. On this side we also find a small power button.

The cables are built into the device itself, so you simply unwind them for use. This is one of the best features of the JUMP Cable because even though I have multiple mobile power banks I always end up forgetting the actual charging cable. Unwinding the cables we can see that they are quality cables, made of braided fabric rather than rubber, which we see on a lot of charging cables. The ends are reinforced so the cable won’t fail at the connector, which is what we see all the time with the Apple Lightning cables. When you have the cables fully unraveled the total length of the cabling is just about 19 inches.
